The aim of the study was to study the effectiveness of the effect of the insecticidal drug "Phytokreolin" on the number of zoophilic flies in closed livestock premises. The object of the research was an insecticidal agent - a solution of phytocreolin in different concentrations and a change in the number of insects during the treatment of closed-type livestock premises with the studied preparation. The research included a stage before setting up an experiment with a control determination of the number of insects in the studied livestock premises before disinsection with an insecticide drug. The second stage was the direct disinfection of 25, 50 and 100% solutions of the test agent. It was revealed that the best indicators for reducing the number of insects in closed livestock premises in the cowshed and poultry house were revealed during the disinsection of the 50% insecticidal drug "Phytocreolin", especially with their maximum decrease in June and August. This was facilitated by sufficiently high temperature and humidity indicators. High rates were also observed in the rabbit house in July, but the best result was recorded with 100% treatment with phytocreolin solution - for 237 individuals (39.0%). This indicator was associated with increased humidity and relatively high ambient temperature in a given month (the number of animals and the small area of the room size). In August, also for the first and second livestock closed premises, the best results were obtained with disinsection with a 50% solution of the drug with a decrease of 37.0 and 39.2%, respectively. This is due to the seasonal activity of zoophilic flies.
