Application of integration in the economy

At the present stage of development of society, mathematics and its tools are an integral part of any science. Through the mathematical apparatus, many phenomena and processes in the life of society, including economic ones, are investigated and analyzed. In this article, we present examples of the use of the integral for calculating such economic indicators as the amount of loss, the value of consumer surplus and discounted income.
