The intense growth of competition in the educational services market requires the organization to conduct active marketing activities to attract applicants. The work examines issues related to the use of Internet technologies in the marketing activities of an educational institution. More and more communications are going into the online sphere, therefore, the importance of Internet technologies in the promotion of an educational organization is increasing. The paper discusses the distinctive features of Internet technologies, their tools, and the main Internet technologies. The process of planning, the structure and content of the plan of marketing activities for educational organizations is considered. A point assessment of competitiveness, SWOT-analysis and PEST-analysis of the activities of “Orenburg College of Economics and Law” have been carried out in the aim of analysis of the current state of this educational institution. A set of activities based on Internet technologies has been developed, the main target indicators and a target budget for all activities have been determined, and the effectiveness of marketing costs has been assessed.
