The Use of Eco-Friendly Restoration Technologies as a Factor of Sustainable Housing Development

This article examines the bathtub restoration technology using pour-on acrylic from the perspec-tives of materials science, technological processes, and production efficiency. It presents the physicochemical prop-erties of two-component formulations, their adhesion and wear resistance, and provides a comparative analysis with alternative restoration methods. Practical cases from the US and Russia are presented, allowing the effective-ness of the method to be assessed in real conditions. The prospects for introducing the technology into capital repair programs, housing stock modernization, and green construction are analyzed. Particular attention is paid to safety issues, compliance with international standards, environmental certification, and the impact on reducing the carbon footprint. Typical mistakes in the implementation of the technology are also considered, and recommenda-tions for their prevention are offered. The work is of interest to specialists in the field of housing and communal services, small business, environmental design, and sustainable development of urban infrastructure.
