Application of cluster analysis in the assessment of economic security

A significant expansion of the shadow economy suggests the need to prepare more effective actions to combat it. The key to achieving an effective result is an objective assessment of the current state of economic security. To date, there are no standard, universal approaches that could ensure the success of such a calculation in any economy. The article discusses the application of the cluster analysis method to determine the size of the shadow economy in Russia's GDP relative to foreign countries.
