The study examines Russia’s integration into the global “green” trend and presents the results of modeling the ecological and economic dynamics of clusters of Russian regions, taking into account their industry specifics in terms of the degree of anthropogenic impact on all natural subsystems of the regions using a modified “green growth” model. In terms of the level of air and water pollution, a movement towards a green economy is observed in almost all regional clusters, with the exception of the regions with the developed mining and social and agro-tourism clusters, which were in the “brown” growth zone in terms of impact on the aquatic ecosystem. In terms of the volume of industrial waste generation and consumption at the end of the study period, 6 clusters were in the black growth zone and only the trade and processing cluster was in the green growth zone.
