Application of Space Images for the Identification of Buildings and Structures in the City of Nurafshan, Tashkent Region

This article examines the application of space surveying for the identification of buildings and structures in the city of Nurafshan, Tashkent Region. Modern remote sensing (RS) methods used for urban development monitoring, as well as their application in urban planning and cadastral registration, are analyzed. Special attention is given to the Normalized Difference Built-up Index (NDBI), which effectively detects building density and changes in the urban environment. The study analyzes methods for processing satellite data, including machine learning technologies and neural network algorithms. Recommendations are provided on the use of RS data to improve the accuracy of cadastral records and urban infrastructure planning.
