Application of laser radiation for local thermal treatment
Бесплатный доступ
This article discusses the technological application of a laser as a tool for local heat treatment. Modern continuous lasers provide focused radiation intensity up to 1010 W / cm2, and in pulsed systems used, for example, for research in the field of laser fusion, this value reaches values of 1016-1017W / cm2. For comparison, the average intensity of solar radiation on the Earth's surface is about 0.1 W / cm2, and when focusing it can be increased to 10 W / cm2. The high intensity of laser radiation opens up wide possibilities for its technological applications as a tool for local heat treatment.
