Application of materials with shape memory effect for increasing durabiliry of thin-walled pressure vessels

Бесплатный доступ

The way of strengthening the thin-walled pressure vessels with use of strengthening ring elements from materials with shape memory effect (SME) is offered. Analytical calculation of tension-deformed state (TDS) for the infinite open shell with one ring element from alloy with SME is executed. By means of finite element method (FEM) calculation of SME is made for the closed shell of average length on an example of the case nickel-hydrogen accumulator strengthened by ring elements from alloy NiTi. By means of planning experiment methods the optimum step of installation the ring elements, allowed to augment specific power consumption of nickel-hydrogen accumulators (NHА) in 1,55 times is certain.
