Application of vibroarc hardening for increasing resource of tillers's working organs

The article presents a prospective method vibroarc hardening (KVDU) working organs of tillers, working under the direct impact of abrasive particles. When using the cutting edge of the working body cermet paste is applied which after drying is melted to form the electric arc cermet coating. At the same time there is a thermal diffusion saturation of metal working body of alloying elements (nitrogen and aluminum), members of the paste, as well as carbon. Studies with samples of hardened pastes of different compositions revealed that the hardness of the base metal reinforced varies in the range of 51... 56 HRC, and the deposited coating - from 67 to 72 HRC, whereas the hardness of hardened steel 65G is in the range 44... 48 HRC. To evaluate the effectiveness of the method KVDU conducted performance tests of hardened parts. It was found that reinforced arched feet cultivators have an average of 1.5... 1.9 times higher wear resistance than unreinforced serial paws.
