The quantitative expression of an diamond holding in sheaf serve, first of all, the change of abrasive material concentration on KAM friction surface in process of exploitation of the tool. Shayl method is applied to research of change of concentration of grinding powders active grains from natural and synthetic diamonds of various dispersion in composite material on the basis of polytetraftorethylene in the course of friction and wear process.
