Application of visualization methods and virtual laboratory's developments for creation of a concept of e-record archives “ERA”

The article is concerned with researches in the field of e-records’ archival storage in research colleges and universities of the USA. The author considers possibilities of transferring the records for permanent hold from the federal institutions to NARA by electronic channels, maintaining the access to the e-records by the Online Public Access (OPA), and functioning of the electronic records archives “ERA".
