Application of international standards in farms as a factor of the growth of the Russian agricultural sector

This article is about problems of the modern state of Russian farms and their main characteristics. The article gives the comparison of foreign and Russian farms and explains the importance of government support. The introduction of IAS in Russia changed the way firms make their financial statements. Thanks to the use of IAS 41 - Agriculture Russian firms are able to improve their activity and make it more effective.
