The use of neural networks in the activities of internal affairs bodies

The article discusses a substantive and functional approach to the definition of the concept of «neural network», which has been used recently in order to ensure the high efficiency of law enforcement officers. An interpretation of the fundamental terms related to artificial intelligence products (neural networks) is presented, as well as promising directions for the development and use of existing developments for implementation in the practice of law enforcement officers are described. Accordingly, an analysis was made of the material received from various civil and departmental organizations. A detailed classification of neural networks based on the principle of their operation is given. The author considers the available possibilities for integrating currently existing civil systems and software systems created on the basis of neural networks, which are useful for solving and investigating various types of crimes, as well as for daily use in the activities of law enforcement officers. Particular attention is paid to foreign experience in the use of various developments officially fixed for use in the activities of law enforcement officers. Various normative legal acts are considered, which provide interpretations of the fundamental terms applicable in the framework of the study on a given issue. At the end of this article, a conclusion was made about the high relevance of the given topic.
