Spectral line identification by continuous wavelet transform

The signal processing of direct absorption spectroscopy by continuous wavelet transformation is described in work. Such approach allows identifying the basic spectral line profiles. Also the widths for Doppler and Lorenz spectral profiles are evaluated without direct measurement. The method applicability was demonstrated at investigation of noisy spectrometer signal.
