The treatment of patients with acute and chronic pain is the most important problem of modern medicine, since pain syndromes are widespread in economically developed countries. According to various authors, more than 30% of the entire population suffers from them. Of this number, more than 70% percent is associated with dorsalgia. 3.5 million people suffer from this disease every day, and only 20% of patients have it subjectively assessed as mild, 50% are defined as moderate and 30% as intolerable. In the USA, with a population of 240 million people, the loss of working capacity in days per year for lower back pain is 20 million days, which is an average of 9 days per patient per year. This article discusses the effectiveness of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs in patients with chronic low back pain.
