Applying an object-oriented approach to information system design

This article analyzes the object-oriented approach to the design of information systems, defines the main elements and principles of the approach. The analysis of software systems used for the development of object-oriented approach is carried out. Conclusions about the effectiveness of the object-oriented approach for designing information systems are formulated.
