Application of steam-gas power unit as the power source of active cooling system of gas-turbine engine

The active cooling system of the high-temperature gas-turbine engine in which as a power source steam-gas unit is used is offered. Comparison of calculated values of thermal efficiency for two similar gas-turbine engines with active cooling systems but having as cooling system power source in the first case the gas-turbine unit, and in the second case steam-gas unit is executed. It is proved that when using as a power source the steam-gas unit the thermal efficiency of gas-turbine engine has higher value.
