Measuring soil moisture is an important process in agronomy, ecology and hydrology. Traditional moisture measurement methods can be expensive and time-consuming, which makes the use of affordable and easy-to-use technologies such as microcontrollers an attractive solution. This article discusses a method for measuring soil moisture using the Arduino platform, describing the principle of operation of sensors, wiring diagrams and data processing software.
