Lagrange approach applying to the solution of one dimensional shock waves propagation problem in air

One dimensional problem simulation of shock waves propagation in gas using Lagrange approach to fluid particles movement is considered. The method uses Godunovs solution for Riemann problem as basis. The numerical solution results for two test cases are compared with exact one and Hartens data. It is shown, that proposed method doesnt have numerical diffusion for shock waves.
