Historical aspect of the issue about reduced liability is considered. Correlations of three compounds of reduced responsibility: personality, situation, mental abnormalities. Special value o complex forensic psychological-psychiatric expertise is stressed. 16 cases of application of the concept reduced liability are analyzed.
