The use of the drug Alflutop in the treatment of post-traumatic osteoarthritis of the knee

Application of the drug Alflutope in the complex treatment of posttraumatic osteoarthritis of the knee joint. For the period from 2012 to 2017 years 186 patients with posttraumatic deforming osteoarthritis of the knee joint were treated in the department. The average age of the patients was 44 years (from 24 to 80 years). Patients underwent arthroscopic surgery on the knee joint: resection of the meniscus, removal of intraarticular bodies, arthrolysis and arthroplasty. In the postoperative period, complex restorative treatment was carried out: physiotherapeutic measures, exercise therapy, Alflutop injection, intra-articular injection of platelet-autologous plasma. Long-term results of treatment were studied in 186 patients 12 months after the end of the course of treatment. The result of the treatment was a reduction in the pain syndrome, an improvement in the volume of movements in the joint and its general functional state. Complex treatment of posttraumatic osteoarthritis of the knee joint allowed to slow the progression of the disease and improve the patient’s quality of life.
