Mathematical modeling data is the basis for justifying the safety of installations at all stages of operation, and therefore there is a need to constantly improve calculation codes. This article examines the possibility of using the new LOGOS software to calculate the thermophysical parameters of various nuclear installations in the nuclear industry. The work presents the stages of calculations of the mathematical model of six- and eight-pipe fuel assemblies of the IRT-T reactor research facility. The result of the work is the calculation of the distribution of temperature characteristics, which were obtained by modeling in the LOGOS software package. A comparison of the obtained data was carried out with a previously verified model; the obtained parameters of the six- and eight-pipe fuel assemblies in the domestic product show high convergence within the permissible deviation limits, and therefore we can conclude that the use of the domestic software package “LOGOS” is promising for describing non-stationary phenomena.
