In a laboratory experiment, a soil sample artificially contaminated with petroleum products was cleared of contamination using sawdust. Petroleum products contribute a number of heavy metals to the soil, so before cleaning the soil from petroleum products and after, a study of soil samples for the content of heavy metals was conducted. The seeds of a watercress plant were used as a test object. According to the results of seed germination, the result of soil cleaning was evaluated.
