Application of the customs mechanism for import substitution in the context of sanctions

The article discusses the problems of import substitution of goods and technologies in Russia. This is especially true for high-tech products that are used in the field of information and communication technologies. Customs authorities are involved in this work, which contributes to the development of foreign economic activity, ensures compliance with prohibitions and restrictions, as well as the protection of domestic producers, the protection of intellectual property objects. The article examines the customs mechanisms used in the process of import substitution, as well as measures for the transition of industry to domestic technologies, eliminating dependence on foreign technologies.
