This article focuses on the opportunity of applying of project management model in development a new product process. The notion ‘a new product’, project management entity and the stages of creature a new product are revealed. The analyze of combination of the project lifecycle and the stages of creature a new product is held. Each project lifecycle phase is assigned the certain stages of development a new product. The advisability of applying of project management model in development a new product process is justified based the analyze results.
