The problem of integration of natural-science and artistic-aesthetic directions in the organization of the educational process with the children of preschool age is considered. STEAM technology is described as the educational technology, allowing to implement successfully the integration principle, that is based on the principles of the interdisciplinary approach of mastering the educational program’s content, the realization of the project-based learning and the use of the practice-oriented approach.
