The principle of presumption and good faith in the electoral law: implementation challenges

The article discusses implementation of the legal presumption and the principle of good faith in the electoral law. It is emphasized, that the restoration of violated electoral right is hardly probable after the election. The author considers it is an omission that there is no principle of good faith, as well as rules of rights abuse inadmissibility in the electoral law. Some examples of the abuse of rights in the electoral process are discussed. It is concluded that there is a need to introduce a category of “good faith" in the electoral law.
