Principles of public control as a factor in strengthening Russian democracy

In modern Russian legal reality, new forms of interaction between civil society institutions and the state are being formed. At the same time, public control has firmly entered the system of citizens' participation in the administration of state affairs. The principles of implementing public control into legal practice strengthen the basis of the rule-of-law state and democracy. It is necessary to recognize the importance of scientific researches of the primary legal bases for exercising control over the activities of government bodies carried out by the Russian public.
