Priority areas of scientific research and scientific-methodical work of the CSAL at the present stage

The most important areas of scientific activity of the CSAL in the context of digitalization are considered. Scientific activities on the basis of the Statute are classified as the main activities of the library and comprise conducting scientific research on industry-specific aspects of library science, bibliography and computer science. Carrying out research is included in the state assignment. It is emphasized that research and scientific-methodical work are interrelated, the results of scientific research are included in the technological cycles of the library. Priorities in scientific work are built depending on the current situation, the demands of the society and the preferences of users.
