In the writings of Archpriest Sergius Bulgakov, the concept of Christian theocracy is based on his concept of the Church as Divine-human synergy and church power as the joint power of God and the Church. Father Sergius examines the problem of the implementation of Christian theocracy in history in connection with the ministry of the Christian tsar. Archpriest Sergius Bulgakov posed the question of tsarist power as a dogmatic question, that is, referring to the teaching side of Orthodoxy. According to Father Sergius, the Church recognized in the Christian tsar not only the head of state, but also the bearer of the special charisma of reign, respectively, of the church service.
