Natural arrangement of specialization of agricultural of south part the Western Siberian economic region

The article explores the correlation between characteristics of agricultural potential in the south of Western Siberia, current changing trends and specialization in agricultural production which has developed in the administrative districts of the studied area. The authors have compared local natural conditions and structure of agricultural production in West Siberian economic region. Indicators related to agricultural potential and specialization of agricultural production in the administrative districts have been adopted as evaluation criteria. The study has confirmed that spatial-temporal differentiation in the south of Western Siberia accounts for specialization of agricultural production. Complex analysis of agrarian-economic and natural potentials of the territory allows to justify the choice of branches of agricultural specialization to ensure sustainable production in the conditions of changes in natural and social factors.
