Natural economic trends and specifics of the Rostov region at the current stage

the article examines the main trends in anthropogenic impact on the natural environment of the Rostov region in 2019-2022, in particular the emission of pesticides by agricultural producers in the region, the dynamics of wastewater flow into water bodies, the emission of pollutants into the atmosphere from stationary and mobile sources of pollution. The priority directions for stabilizing the socio-ecological-economic situation in the region are substantiated, in particular: the development of tools for financing the modernization of municipal water supply and sanitation networks, implying the formation of an economic component attractive for private investment, which will allow, in conditions of a lack of municipalities’ own material and financial resources, create conditions for the gradual renewal of water supply infrastructure and reduction of polluted water emissions; implementation of measures to develop the road transport infrastructure of the region, primarily through the construction of new highways around populated areas. The results of the article can be used by state authorities of the constituent entities of the RF when implementing environmental policy measures.
