The region's attractiveness in the population estimates

The article considers the basic parameters of the Vologda region's population attitude to their region on the basis of a survey, conducted in May 2008, on a model interview. Application of the model methodology, developed by staff of the socio-cultural changes study Center at the Institute of Philosophy, Russian Academy of Sciences under the leadership of N.I. Lapin for social and cultural atlas of Russian regions, makes it possible to compare the results of a survey in the Vologda region with the same data in the neighboring region - the Republic of Karelia, and NWFD and Russia as a whole.
