Survival, preservation and growth of pine forest cultures in Chasucheyskiy forest

Long-term researches on creation of forest cultures of Krylov pine (Pinus sylvestris subsp. krylovii (Serg. et Kondr.) Busik) in Chasucheysk pine forest (dry steppe zone) in Zabaykalskiy Krai are given in article. Materials on influence of age of planting material, way of cultivation and planting, timing and number of agrotechnical maintenances on survival, preservation and growth of forest cultures to age of closure and transfer to the lands covered with forests are explained. It is offered to use selectioned large-sized saplings for afforestation of cutting areas and fires in Chasucheyskiy pine forest.
