Goryacheva E. V., Kazakhstan recognition of an ownership title by operation of the acquisitive limitation

The paper considers alterations made to the Kazakhstani Civil Code respective of recognition of an ownership title by operation of the acquisitive limitation. A limitation lapse has been altered, and a provision on precedence of the lapse of actions against the lapse of acquisitive limitation was repealed, thus the owner’s title has been secured for the event of ownerless real property’ lapse to the public domain.
