Foreign direct investment as a factor of accelerated economic development

The article analyzes the inflow of foreign direct investment in the economy of the Russian Federation. The assessment of activity of foreign investors in the territory of the Russian Federation is given. The main problems hindering the possibility of obtaining a positive economic effect from the inflow of foreign capital into the domestic industry are revealed. The expediency of further attraction of direct investments of nonresidents for the purpose of radical updating and sustainable development of key industries is proved.
