The problem of values and value orientations in philosophic and psychological literature

Values are considered by philosophy ethics, sociology and psychology. Philosophy views values as regulations, person s life criteria, etc. Psychologists are interested in the process of value forming. Value orientations are considered as the set of important qualities of person's internal structure. The problem of values and value orientations has been considered since antiquity, but there are still many difficulties in their theoretical and empirical studies.
