The problem of the center of theology of the Apostle Paul: prolegomena to an alternative approach

The question of the center of Paul’s theology has not yet found a single solution to a modern biblical scholarship. From the author’s point of view, the main reason for this problem is the wrong setting and inadequate methodology of solution. This article is an attempt to propose an alternative methodology that the author tries out on the example of the Epistle to the Romans. Using the categories of modern literary criticism, the author shows that the culmination of the message and its main theological theme at the same time is the doctrine of adoption and the glorification of man, which is represented in the eighth chapter.
