The gypsies’ problem in England according to the 16th-century statutes of the parliament

This article reviews the issues of the legislation against the Gypsies in Tudor England. Based on the Parliament Acts the authors attempt to show the development of the abovementioned legislation, note the similarities of the Gypsies, immigrants and English vagabonds in lifestyle and status.
