The problem of energy deficiency of the regions of South-West Siberia

Бесплатный доступ

The article considers the problem of energy deficiency in the regions of the south of Western Siberia - the Altai Region and the Altai Republic. The data on the volumes of the existing deficit of energy capacities are given. The structure of generating capacities is analyzed. The priority directions of development of generating capacities in the region are indicated. Based on an analysis of the available alternatives, two priority areas for the development of generating capacities are identified: (a) the construction of the Altai (Munai) condensation power station, with a capacity of 660 MW, at the base of the Munaysky coal field; (b) the creation of a complex of small CHPs based on gas-piston-type cogeneration plants. The significance of these areas for overcoming the region’s energy deficit is substantiated.
