The problem of euthanasia in philosophy

The term «euthanasia» derives from the Greek words «good» and «death» and it means a deliberate action which leads to the death of a hopelessly sick and suffering person in a relatively fast and painless way in order to cease an incurable pain and suffering. In the framework of this research the problem of euthanasia is studied in a philosophical aspect.
