The problem of personal identity in philosophy

The article is devoted to the analysis of the problem of personal identity in philosophy. Author reveals the essence of the change from the substantial concept of the personal identity founded on the philosophy of identity and transcendental subject to communicative and dialogical models. In this aspect, it considers personalis-tic, hermeneutic and phenomenological concepts of the most prominent representatives of modern philosophy.
