The problem of mass and mass consciousness in the philosophy of the XX century

In this article the views of philosophers of the XIX-XX centuries concerning the spreading mass consciousness are considered, which also exists in modern society. Various views on this phenomenon have been analyzed and the main reasons for its spread have been identified on their basis.
