The problem of youth unemployment in Russia: reasons and ways to resolve it

The article is devoted to the analysis of one of the main social and economic problems in Russia - youth unemployment. The main consequences of high unemployment were considered and the importance of the issue is determined. Author presents statistical data that give a representation of the real scale of unemployment among young people aged from 15 to 29 years in the country, analyzes the causes of this phenomenon and describes the ways to resolve this problem of youth unemployment. The statistical data for the research was taken from the Rosstat database posted on the official website of the Federal State Statistics Service.
