The problem of ethical and moral choice during the Russian civil war (to the profile of general B.P. Rezukhin of the Asiatic cavalry division)

The issue of choice is one of the civil war aspects. This concerns both political self-identification and the choice of behavior under extreme conditions for the human psyche. Meanwhile, the pattern of behavior is based on moral values, which undergo serious changes in wartime, and usually in a negative sense. The majority find it difficult to conform to peacetime norms, and only a few have the courage to uphold not only their old concepts of duty and honor but also to follow them, no matter what the situation demands. The paper aims to explore possible motives for moral and ethical choices in the Russian Civil War by analyzing the profile of Asiatic Cavalry Division General, B.P. Rezukhin.
