Problem of induction justification (metaphysical and pragmatic approaches)

A classical epistemological problem, posed by Hume, is under investigation. The following questions are considered: Is it possible to justify the use of induction in everyday life? Can we justify induction as a way of synthesis of empirical evidence or a basis for the prediction of new facts? These results enrich a tradition of philosophical understanding of science, contributing by this to the elucidation of specific scientific knowledge.
