The problem of professional health in extreme working conditions (overview)

The problem of health, including professional, is one of the priority tasks of social development. This determines the relevance of its theoretical and practical development, determining the need to deploy appropriate scientific research and develop methodological and organizational approaches to health preservation, its formation and development. These tasks are considered the most important in modern science. Recent years are characterized by the special attention to the research of health in the extreme professional conditions, paid in physiology, psychology, medicine, hygiene and labor protection. Servicemen, astronauts, rescuers, firefighters, pilots, divers, officers of special forces are among the extreme professions. Extreme sports associated with greater risks to life such as parachuting, rafting, mountaineering, hang-gliding, motor sports and others are also considered as dangerous. The study of the characteristics of human health under the mentioned professions and sports is thus an extremely important direction of fundamental and applied science.
