The problem of reference choice in the system of value orientations of adolescents

The article presents a theoretical analysis of the problem of reference choice in the system of value orientations of adolescents. Value orientations of the personality are considered as a function of rationalization and regulation of human behavior. The reference choice is a conscious, meaningful, effective representation of advantages in alternative conditions (good-bad) to universal values with a line of behavior when the person freely and responsibly makes an arbitrary decision.
