The problem of the meaning of life in philosophy and arts

Бесплатный доступ

The article considers the philosophical and artistic aspects of the eternal problem of the meaning of life, the specificity of the philosophical and aesthetic reflection of reality. Various aspects of the crisis of modern civilization are represented as a consequence of the degeneration of the bourgeois mode of production of public life, as a consequence of a fundamental identity crisis. The logic of the development of the problem of the meaning of life in the history of philosophy, culminating in philosophical postmodernism, is revealed. The classical dichotomy of Hamlet and Don Quixote is taken as the basis for the representation of the artistic interpretation of the problem.
